For those of you who like to ski, and can only ski weekends, this offer(s) may be of interest to you.
 
Several ski areas in the Truckee/Tahoe area offer $25 lift tickets on specific weekend and holiday dates. The proceeds of these "Ski for the School" days go to the Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation.  This is definitely a win/win for everyone....you and our kids!
 
 
Do note that Northstar is offering a Sunday through Friday option from January 2 thru 7...again only $25. So if you are up for the second week of the Christmas holidays, you will want to take advantage of this offering.
