The Truckee Optimist Club continues to sell Christmas Trees at the Crossroads Shopping Center at the corner of Highway 89 South and Deerfield Drive in Truckee.  For those of you who are heading to the mountains for the Christmas holiday, please consider dropping by the lot and pick up a beautiful tree. There are still ample supplies of locally cut  Red Firs (silver tips), and imported Noble and Grand Firs from Oregon. The lot remains open until December 23 or until supplies run out.

ALL proceeds from this annual Optimist Club fundraiser go directly to programs, grants, and multiple scholarships for the kids of the Truckee/Tahoe area. Enjoy the holidays and all the new snow that is currently on the way.  The ski areas are poised to receive multiple feet of snow.  Make this Christmas a special one for you and your family.
