I've always been a fan of food and wine pairing and beer tasting events, and I'm very happy to report that 2 such events will be taking place in the Truckee/Tahoe area in the coming weeks. 

The first event is a food and wine pairing, held at Jake's on the Lake, on Thursday January 20th.  The wines are being provided by Foley Family Wines (including one of my favorites, Sebastiani!!). 

The second event is the "Beer and Food Festival" which will be hosted by Dragonfly, in Truckee.  This event is being held on Thursday, Jan 27th, and will feature beers from Mammoth Brewing Company.
