If you are itching to visit the Truckee/Tahoe area to do some skiing, this would be a great weekend to do it.  Area resorts including Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Sugar Bowl have reported over a foot of snow so far this week and forecasts are calling for another foot during the day on Friday.   The storm system should move out of the area in time to create sunshine, and great skiing, on Saturday and Sunday!!  Get up here and enjoy!
