Tahoe Donner Real Estate
August 22 to September 4:
I apologize for not posting last week. I had a technical issue which was keeping me from being able to upload any posts. I beleive the issue is resolved now (or at least I know how to work around it!).
The Tahoe Donner real estate market has been a bit tepid the last couple weeks. Homes are still selling but not quite at the pace we expect (or at least hope for) at this time of year. Ever since the stock market volatility arose in mid August, buyers in our area have become more cautious. The number of showings at listings has been low and the number of new escrows has been low as well. There are some positive things going on in the economy, particulary in what I hear from the San Francisco Bay Area, but we'll have to continue monitoring things.
