August 15-22:

The Tahoe Donner real estate market made a strong rebound from the uncertainty of last week.  9 homes went into escrow, which is one of the busiest weeks we've had this summer.  It's important to note that there were homes throughout the price ranges that went into contract, not just lower end homes.  There were also multiple offers on a couple of the higher end homes. 

There was a little bit of negative which should be noted.  There was also a large number of price reductions, and showing activity (the number of showings at homes throughout the market) was still low for the time of year.  It seems that buyers are either pulling the trigger or avoiding temptation.
