4th of July, 2011, promises to be a great one in Truckee and Lake Tahoe.  Every 4th of July is jam packed with events and fun, but this 1 should be a little sweeter as the lakes are full and there's still some good skiing to be had!!!

I'm not going to pretend that I know everything going on in the Truckee/Tahoe region this 4th of July, but I can say these are some key events which you don't want to miss:

 

Saturday, July 2:

Beerfest and Bluegrass at Northstar.

Skiing at Squaw Valley. (open saturday through monday)

Skiing at Alpine Meadows.  (open saturday through monday)

 

Sunday, July 3:

Cushing Crossing followed by Big Head Todd Concert and Fireworks at Squaw Valley.

Deck Party and Fireworks at Kings Beach.

 

Monday, July 4:

Truckee Firefighters Pancake Breakfast.

Truckee Parade.

Skiing at Sugar Bowl.

Fun and Fireworks at Donner Lake.

Tahoe City and Incline Fireworks.
