One of the things which makes us most proud to be Truckee residents is seeing all the volunteer efforts our community makes throughout the year.  The holiday season is certainly no exception, with numerous organizations and individuals donating time, money, and goods to make each holiday season something to remember.  One of the key organizations is "Truckee Community Christmas", which coordinates the efforts of several Truckee groups.  Their main focus is on collecting food, toy, and clothing donations for some of the needy families in the Truckee community.  We support their efforts both through direct donations and by providing toy and coat donation barrels in our Dickson Realty office at 11500 Donner Pass Rd, Truckee.  For more information on how you can help "Truckee Community Christmas", please read the following article from the Sierra Sun:  Truckee Community Christmas:  Seeking Donations.
