Each year the Sierra Sun and Tahoe Bonanza poll their combined readership to determine their "Best of North Lake Tahoe and Truckee" award winners.  This year, one of the awards was for "Best Neighborhood" and the winner was Truckee's Sierra Meadows.  Sierra Meadows is a community of only about 500 homes, but its residents have a lot of pride and the quality of the community is well known throught the area.  For more details about Sierra Meadows and this award, check out the Sierra Sun articl:  Sierra Meadows:  Truckee's Best Neighborhood.
